How long before a company closes after filing.

Hello, we stopped trading at the end of our last financial year and sent in the form with £10 cheque to close the company on the 23rd June. How long do you think it'll take before i'll get some notice / confirmation? I notice on companies house some are showing as "pending strike off". Im just wanting to be sure they have received my application thats all.

The best thing to do is simply give them a call tomorrow when their office opens. They are usually quite efficient on the phone.

Still, I would have expected this form to have been received and processed by now...

The strike off application will be in the London Gazette for 3 months. This gives time for any party to object.

The company will not be struck off until notice has been given in the Gazatte.

Have you remembered to send a copy of the strike off to all creditors of the company?

Yep. All the correct processes have been followed as per instructions from my accountant. Il give them a ring tomorrow to check they've received the form.
