Hi All,

I've been searching for simple solution for invoice management. I found dozen of interesting solutions like invoicemachine and freshbooks. But all these programs are doing more than I need and it looks for me like they are over expensive. Aren't they?

It seems that all these applications are handling invoices and track payments. As fair as I know, track of payments are job for the company's accountant so this is just duplicating the job.
What I really need is simple web application where I can create invoices, browser them and print or email them. Also it would be nice if application supports pre-invoices, credit note, debt note and proforma( advance) invoice...

Any suggestion would be most appreciate! :)

Thank you all for your answers, it was very helpful. I guess that at the end "Invoice machine" app is the one that suits me best, but still not ideal.

Maybe at the end I'll pay some local company to develop application that has all I require and nothing more.

Having gone through this process myself, I have found that the KISS formula is best. have an invoice and any other forms made up keep them on your computer so the accountant can bring them up and just type in the information for each sale. Then save them all in a folder on your computer system. I have tried several programs and have found this to be the simplest and most effective.

Scotian, I also handle invoices exactly like that currently. :) But I'm unsatisfied as I think that files are not best way to handle invoices especially if you have many connected pre-invoices, proforma invoices credit note, debt note... Also a disadvantage is that I cant access invoices over Internet etc. And some part of invoices( products, clients, invoice numbers) can't be filled in automatically.
