just wondered if anybody had heard of any grants that are available for business start up for disabled people
there seems to be a mine field out there just wondered if anyone had any contacts for this sort of thing

If your on incapacity or disability benefit, then the jobcentre has something under it's New Deal programme.

Alternatively you could try Remploy who can advise if not offer cash.

We offer free training to anyone who is deaf or physically disabled. It's not exactly a grant, but it might prove useful to some. Unemployment among the disabled community is much higher than the national average.
