Evening guys....
I've used this forum a lot since starting up and found a great printer for my flyers, a really good copy writer for my direct mailings and a fine graphic designer for my van livery.

And now what I am looking for is help with my wife and daughters ecommerce jewellery website.

They have a very basic site, built using moonfruit, that has attracted 2700+ hits since opening but has only had two sales. Facebook is a different story where they have 877 followers and decent orders.

What I am looking for is someone to either re-build the site so that it begins to start getting orders or completely start again with a new site.

I've set a budget of £800/£1000 to get it sorted but don't know if this is a realistic sum....

The site is www.rubyandrosejewellery.com

how longs it been going? With that sort of traffic you could get decent conversions.

How do people find the site? Is it just via facebook?

Thanks
k

I would suggest that you start over.

The customers are confused with the current site. Homepage has no structure to it. I have to watch a video in order to view your product collection??? This will turn first time potential customers away!.

When I go to the online shop, first impression is that there are only 4 products available. I should know that I have to click the images in order to view? This is not clear and doesn't pass the "3 second" test.

The power of images to sell is what you need to improve on too. There are no images of jewelery where it is being worn for an appropriate occasion/setting.

If I am thinking of buying ie almost won the customer over, I want to see what others think too. Where is the testimonials page? I can't see it. ...Ahhh its in contact. All well and good but what if I wasn't planning on contacting you before I have read what others think?

Just a few pointers there....
Sorry if I sound blunt. No offence intended.

All the best.

Hi Norman,

We are a free website quotes service and work with a number of designers that work in the jewelery industry (it is best working with a designer that has experience of the sector).

If you want to click the link below and select 'website design' from the drop down - we can get you some quotes to compare today from experienced designers.
