Hello everyone,
My name is Jonny Sharp and I run a public relations agency called SharpPR. I focus on media relations and help to raise the profile of businesses by getting them in the news.
I started out in my career as a newspaper journalist working my way up from local and regional titles to later working for some of the country's best known national newspapers and magazines.
I really love what I do as effective PR can work wonders for many businesses from the smallest of SMEs to corporate giants.
I think myself lucky now to have been a cub reporter at the age of 21 as I learned all those years ago what news really was - and those instincts as a 'news hound' have stayed with me throughout my career.
Based in Warwickshire, my typical working day could consist of drafting a newsy press release, writing a company profile or case study and building relationships with the media.
I am looking forward to keeping up to speed with the latest news and posts on here, and sharing knowledge and know-how.
Cheers for now,
Jonny
