Hello
Sorry to have already broken protocol by replying to a post before introducing myself - got a bit excited when I saw a question relating to an industry in which I worked for seven years
Hope that hasn't set me off on the wrong foot
So, I'm Debbie Williams (most call me Deb or Debs; it's only doctors and tax inspectors that call me Deborah) and I'm a marketer.
I launched my new business, debbidoo, a few days ago and stumbled across this forum when I was looking for something else (can't quite remember what - it's been a hectic couple of days). Anyway it looked like a good place to share ideas and meet other businessfolk, so here I am.
I:

That's about it, really.
Oh: the avatar is part of my company logo, and it's a self-portrait.
That really is it now.
Thanks for reading

I:
- LOVE marketing (in the true, customer-satisfying sense)
- am fascinated by people and their beliefs and opinions
- have a guilty pleasure, in that I enjoy a fair amount of reality TV (Big Brother, Spa of Embarrassing Illnesses, Ladette to Lady, The Apprentice, Dragon's Den - for example); not necessarily because I have especially trashy taste when it comes to TV (I don't watch soaps or Jeremy Kyle), but because I'm so intrigued by other peoples' behaviour
- believe a problem shared is a problem halved (just ask my cats; they bear the brunt of my problem-sharing as the old man has learned to zone out when I go off on one)
- gesticulate wildly with my hands when excited or discussing something about which I'm passionate
- definitely talk too much
That's about it, really.
