I'm Stacey from Mediagenic.co.uk, thought I'd just pop in and say Hi and explain what I am and we are about.

I am the marketing director at Mediagenic.co.uk, currently providing low cost solutions to high end print and exhibition displays.

Wow, that is a cheap price.

Selling the stands for less than £29 (plus the vat) is a bargain!

Doing the maths, the stands (I guess you are using cheap ones) are costing you perhaps £10 each delivered. Unless you are printing on a big, industrial machine you have £3 in ink?

Then unless you are sourcing your print material en-mass from the overseas factory I guess you are paying perhaps £5 for the media to print on.

So £10 + £3 + £5 = £18

Plus say £5 to deliver a stand with a cheap courier = £23?

You are selling for under £29 (so £5 profit)

Then you are paying costs of advertising (adwords)?, wear and tear on machines, wastage, wages, utility bills, rent (I guess you rent if you are a new business)?

It's certainly a very cheap deal, just not sure how you can make profit (or indeed not make a loss)?

Obviously you are a competitor and trying to create something here, we'd rather not lower ourselves and be so unprofessional.

All we can add is, we have many upon many very happy customers and all of our products are of the highest quality.

Thank you for your input and yes, our introductory prices are at the moment an absolute bargain!

I am sorry that you thought my reply was unprofessional, it was certainly not my intention.

Established for over 10 years we have much experience with production of these displays turning over more than £2.5 million p/a.

Rather than being incendiary, I was surprised that you are capable of providing a product at such a low price (because I know the approximate costs of production based upon the grade of materials we use).

I see from your previous email that you are a newly established business and I wish you the best of luck in your new venture.

There was no contact address on your website or company registration number. Are you working from industrial premises or are you keeping costs low by working from home?
