Head shots for your LinkedIn profile, email sig, etc

    As to all the other guff people add to emails, as I said above if you are in a protracted conversation you get endless repeats of the signature block.
    This I agree with. Signatures should only be included in the original out going email, all subsequent replies don't need a signature block as you both already know each other.

    I think it’s an option on Outlook but most people don’t use it. I seem to recall one company insisting they needed everything for legal reasons.

    I look like a Hollywood heart-throb hunky lump of lusciousness in my LinkedIn profile.

    Which is something of a miracle given I'm pretty unattractive generally.

    But that shot was one of a number of selfies I took over a number of days knowing that, if I persisted, eventually a fortunate accident of lighting and facial expression would result in me looking half-way decent.

    Just take random selfies until you stumble on a good 'un. Which you will, eventually.
