Hi

If we sign up for Adwords using a £50 voucher will it stop when that runs out. My other half is worried about the potential endless bill for an adwords campaign!

Cheers

Phil

Yeah it will stop, depending on your target area it will get down to about 20 and tell you to top it up.

They only like to maximise the positions of people who take it seriously.

IIRC, when you set the campaign up it asks whether you want to work on a credit or debit basis. If you select debit, it will only run when there is money in the account.

Yes it will stop, like above mentioned above you can set it up to stop when your credit runs out.

I'd like to know how useful the £50 of advertising was to you? A while ago I ran some really cheap campaigns and learned nothing from them, effectively just throwing my money away. Since then I've learned a lot about using adwords and to get good results you'll need to spend a lot more than £50 in your testing phase.

Good luck with it!

Wrong IT WILL Not Stop, Bad advise here they will bill you!!

There are two types of accounts Pre Paid and post-pay , this a snag the G gods get you on with the voucher. When you singed up choose the second option (and at a guess you have chosen first option ) which they will bill you per clicks usage , the will not change over the account if you have used account more than 10 days. another gotcha . so watch what you do or get some processional SEO advice

Hi

We took up a £75 adwords campaign but were able to have it like pay as you go mobiles in that once the money was getting low they sent emails reminding us, and now it has gone they have suspended the account until further funds are paid.
