Any know how to customise AutoAds other than excluding from a particular page.

It's actually displaying a large banner ad at the top of every page. I read an article that you can customise this in the Ad Setting Preview, but it doesn't show any ad placeholders, in fact it shows "0 in-page ads" even though there are around 5-6 per page.

Any Ideas?

Not ideal, but try adding an ad unit a little lower down the page and it can override the top auto ad

Thanks, that's the article I mentioned about being able to see your placeholders and delete them. However on my site preview its not showing any ad placeholders (so I can delete them).

I tried your suggestion, but it still displays the top banner ad as well.

Did you set it to mobile and desktop view?

It's like adding a new ad unit and can take a few hours before anything changes

You can also try switching down the auto ads

To be honest, I think they can be a right pain, If you want more control you really need to use ad units

Yep, I tried mobile and desktop. I've had auto ads running a while now (about 4-5 months) and the revenue is greater than when I was using manual ad units.

On the most popular pages I'm using both manual & auto ads but that massive top banner is still displayed.

The benefit with auto ads is the anchor ads, I don't know how to code that myself.

If you don't mind, I'd like to ask here. Auto ads disrupt the layout of the site. How do I prevent this from happening?

See the link above, adjust your ad formats, adjust your ad load, adjust your page exclusions, try to control placement by using an ad unit or just switch off auto ads completely.

Not really a lot more you can do
