Gift site (paypal or protox)

Hi there i have just set up a new website, please see below. I have used paypal as a payment tool. Does anyone have advice on this? I use protox in my own work and i think this would be best? WHat do yous think?

I've used PayPal for 7 years now to sell software online and only once had any issues with it.
My account was stopped while I had to verify my address which for some reasons took a month or so, I learnt a lesson and began to use 2CO as a backup payment provider.

Cheers for that info, Yes i was trying to verify the account with a new bank acc this morning, didnt really understand it all. They are going to take money out of the paypal account ro somthing like that, so you waited over a month, i might then consider using protox untill i get the paypal working. We are based down in bangor i see you are in beflast, do you have any contact that would use our site? for buying of course?

I had been using PayPal happily for a while (and thought I had it all verified) and when I sold over £5000 I had then to verify the account, which took quite a long time and a number of phone calls while I was pulling my hair out.

I opened up a 2co account straight away which took a few days to get up and running while the PayPal account was being verified.

With some of the PayPal stories I've heard, I'd definitely get a backup in place.

me too, I use PayPal but I have a back-up in case of emergency.

paypal is the obvious one because people won't give their credit card details to untrusted third parties, and i've never even heard of protox.

alternatives to paypal would be worldpay and google checkout
