Mr.P

Good morning all,

I'll start with a brief introduction, having done various customer service and telesales roles since leaving school, I decided in 2009 to use that experience to set up a call centre for myself marketing various products and gaining experience in many fields - insulation, solar, boilers, life insurance etc, it was good while the energy "boom" lasted but came to natural end in 2013

Since then i have been employed in the B2B arena selling both via telesales and directly, however, I still have the appetite to work for myself so am keen to discuss potential opportunities and how it would be best to promote myself on a freelance basis (i.e running various campaigns for clients)

I look forward to hearing some ideas.

Best wishes

Chris

I would suggest you to go for social media as part of your promotion campaign to look for potential clients. For example, LinkedIn can be useful for you to find connections with people who might need your services. You can also promote yourself in different forums and Facebook groups.

Apart from that, some business related events that happen around you would be great for you too.

I've often thought that there is a need for freelance 'follow-up' sales call persons.

After trade shows many of the exhibitors are busy getting orders out to the customers that have placed orders at the shows. They often do not have time to chase the "interested but undecided" names they pick up.

Brilliant, I'm pretty active on LinkedIn and can post some blogs to raise awareness etc, I'll let you know how it goes.
