Thank you for your response.I require market research in the form of a survey aimed at SMEs with regards to their packaging needs, specifically on designs on the packaging.

@NatalieRob unfortunately that's not very detailed. Detail and a full brief for any work with freelancers, agencies etc is key, think GIGO (garbage in, garbage out).

Do you know the questions and want someone to build a form, or do you want them to research the market, come up with questions, find people/SMEs to ask, ascertain where the form goes and run the survey etc.

No one could quote or recommend something based on what you've said here; e.g. you could get a from built cheaply on Fiver, or you might be talking about a YouGov survey with an audited list of people/companies etc.

That's far too wide a group. It could cover everything from earrings to a tonne of hardcore.

It's also a bit confusing about what you are asking. Are you selling graphic design, printing services or labeling?

I would like to gain feedback from businesses who mail their products to customers using mailing bags, preferably businesses that don’t have their company logos printed on them. The feedback I require is regarding the designs that they would be interested in that would be printed on the mailing bags. I have pre-selected around 10 designs. I also would like information on the following :


1. What size mailing bags would you like to be able to purchase or what sizes do you currently use? You can describe these in the metric/imperial sizes or just write what products you sell.

2. List your top 3 things that are important to you when purchasing packaging for your business?

3.Are there any type of designs you would like to see on packaging?You can describe them or email me pictures you have seen at [email protected].

4.Is there anything else that you would like to add when it comes to researching/purchasing packaging for your business?

There was a discussion a while back about company identifiers on packaging. I seem to recall many were against the idea as it could make the packages susceptible to theft.

Most of the deliveries we get have plain plastic or paper outers with the branding on the box on the inside.

Consider also many small business use fulfilment services. Branded packaging adds to the cost. I brought some water filters off eBay and they came in an Amazon bag.
