Hi
We are a very small business and have just been given the figures from our payroll company. Just want to make sure we are not over paying the employee.
The employee is on £20,000 a year and have a 1 month contractual notice period. The payroll company say we need to pay the employee Net £2,148.65.
We gave the employee notice their notice on 5th March. The payroll company we use have said the following. The employee's salary per month is £1666.66 plus the days in April £384.61 plus 7.4 days holiday owed £569.23 totalling £2620.50 net £2148.65 all NI and tax have been deducted as necessary.
We just want to make sure we are paying the correct amount.
Any help will be be greatly appreciated.
