Facebook Shopping Cart

Just come across a FB ap which lets you add a shopping cart to your FB page. I am getting really excited by it as I have a few thousand FB fans and it seems a good way of targeting them as shoppers as I know they do not like to leave FB sometimes to go to ones' actual website.

Downside it only uses Paypal but I can live with that as I will use it to clear ends of line etc which I don't want on my main site.

Has anyone tried it? IT's called Payvement.

yes, this is going to be very interesting, espescially when it becomes more feature rich. Lots of transactions will start happening through facebook pages, and using facebook credits. if you have a big following, its a good option to look into. will be very viral too as im sure purchases will be shared with friends.

That is an interesting FB feature. With something like that, they don't want their users to leave the FB site (even to purchase something). Very interesting...

Thanks for this blog post. I had a skim read of it last night and went straight through to set up a facebook store and a payvment account and am looking at integrating it with my store to import and keep up to date my products and stock quantities etc. I don't even have a facebook page for my business currently so no followers yet, not sure how that will affect things to begin with but lets face it, facebook aint gonna go away!

Will let you know how I get on.

Thanks for that. Only a few products on there, but I like the "like our facebook page for discount pricing" idea.

Facebook credits is just the beginning then

BTW there are others.
