I guess I arrive a little late. I've just returned to UK from rural Canada where I ran a number of small enterprises ranging from distributing pet products to selling used books on line. I really wanted to get involved in the whole eco green scene but did not know where to start. So I bought a web-site making kit for £60.00, made a site, and then started to see if I could earn some money from it. The idea of the site arose from the agony of trawling pages and pages of irrelevant sites, when all I wanted was UK relevant sites. So I simply stuck all the places I was interested in on my site, and hope that people with similar interests would like it. I then discovered the affiliate scene and am now trying to see if I can earn an income through them, without misleading my visitors. Now I'm starting on the road to promote the site. This site, ukbusinessforums, looks like a great place to get information and support. I am a total novice to this technology. Any suggestions would be welcome.
