emailing invoices

I was interested if anybody has managed to change the default email page the customer receives if you send an invoice by email.

Although this works perfectly well the layout is very basic and can to some customers look like spam mail. It would be nice for it to be more personalised.

Any Ideas?

I print to PDF and then email that. Much better IMHO, as I can use my own template and the recipient gets a proper A4 document to print and file if they so wish.

Would be tedious, I guess, for a lot of invoices.

It certainly looks like a better idea to print to PDF and then email, just didn't think of it.
