Electrical Insurance write offs?

Hi

I'm looking to get into buying, repairing and selling macbooks and have a few years of experience in board level repairs. The only place I have found for stock is auction sites. Does anyone know where large insurance companies dispose of their stock? I'm looking to purchase faulty/insurance claimed stock which I can either repair or use for spares. Auction sites are fine but require a lot of time - I would like to use my time to work rather than bid . I have seen such stock advertised as single items on auction sites but I want to go to the source and buy direct.

I've tried searching but can't find any specific public auctions. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure about insurance writeoffs but you can pick up pallets of electrical returns @ 10-20% RRP from wholesalers like http://www.gemwholesale.co.uk/

thanks for that but I've already come across them on my searches Like I said I'm looking for macbooks that have been returned to insurance/repair companies because of physical/liquid damage or if it has failed. I know these are available but the question is where from?
