ebay purchase - tax deductible?

Hi there,

I've trawled the forum and can't find any reference so thought it would be better to ask.

I've just bought a piece of computer equipment on Ebay which is going to be used for my business. Is such a purchase tax deductible? I'm assuming it is as it's been bought for the sole purpose of my business, but wondered if it still counts if you buy it from such a medium.

Yes it is deductible,

It doesn’t what the source of your purchase is, it’s whether or not you use it in your business that counts.

I am no expert but I don't think it matters where you buy products from so long as you get a proper invoice containing all the sellers details, description of goods, price, VAT, date, etc.

Oh brilliant. That's what I thought but didn't know if there were exceptions and decided to ask an expert.
