Hello

Soon I will be sending my first items off using Click and drop with oba.

I'm just a bit confused about if all that needs to be posted that day is just 2 or 3 items if they would also need to put into mail sacks or if I can just hand them in at the post office as they are?

If I have lots of order I pop them into a sack and drop them to the sorting office ( I'm sure post office will also be fine ) and occasionally ill get a large letter that cant go in the sack with the parcels so I hand that in by itself and they don't mind at all.

    Thanks MR D,

What would happen if I ever ran out of sacks? I have read others on this forum, who have sometimes had a problem ordering them again due to low stock levels. Thanks once again

If you are handing over the collection guy, put into sacks and label them, as the collection time at the Royal Mail gets very complicated, your parcel may get lost unless they are tracked the delivery. Make sure you have the end of day barcode to give them. Otherwise, they delay your parcels.

If you run out of sacks and if you have only a few parcels, you can give as it is to collection guy. It happened to me once and I put it on clear recycling bags with label on it, and all my parcels were delayed a week! Make sure; you don't run out of sacks.

Also, a suggestion for rainy days.. Well, I don't know if this happens to all areas, but they leave the sacks under the rain at the collection point, and most of the sacks get wet, and god knows what happens to labels. I did make a complaint about, but no one cared, so I use two sacks on rainy days. I put one sack into another one then I put my parcels in it. It works better.

We ask the postmaster for sacks. Or when we have time, ask at the depot.
I usually order sacks twice as often as I should - half the time they do not deliver.
