Ok, not sure where to put this, but I'm confident someone will soon tell me if I have it wrong;)

We want to "Do a Deal", so here goes..... we will offer a caricature to 5 UKBF members.
This will cost you nothing but we ask you to host the caricature on your website with a link from your site to our site. (Our website is currently being re-designed so will look a little different to what we have now.)

What's in it for you ?...........well, you get a professionally drawn caricature made specifically for your company website which you can put on your "About us" page or any page for that matter. Lucky ole you!

What's in it for us ?........well we get our Fuzzy name out into cyberspace and more hits and more orders to put it bluntly! We would also like to have the caricatures made put onto our site as samples.

If you are interested, please post here and tell us why we should offer this to you..................funny, interesting,naughty but honest replies only.
 
It's ok, we could always have a white stripe put across the caricatures face - we aim to please :p

good idea,can I suggest you target sites that have a bit of juice as you are offering something of value,or is that undemocratic .?

Why stop at 5?

you have a legit link building method there.

With my Daughter who is 13 just about to launch her first site, with the grateful help of many on here ,this would be a super added bonus for her site,not sure how else to put it .

Other than pleaseeeeeeeeee can she have one

LOL - Did actually start to check back threads to find it for you, but wasn't quick enough!! :)

As for red-faced....typos are typos no matter how strange they appear! I'm sure no-one took it the wrong way.

I'm not sure if my site is suitable or not - but I would be interested - but please don't reject me on a public forum - I couldn't handle that LOL!

Heh, we've been looking at putting something other than pics on our new section, don't want to scare away the punters before we get them. If you're up to being relatively kind to two extremely young looking 50 year old females (hey, come on, it's the shoe size that counts :p) I'll volunteer us. :D
Happy to give you a link there and in the forums. Section I'm waffling about is here turkeyvilla.com in the relocation section (sorry, not qualified to post links here yet).

Pss, don't tell the partner, what she doesn't know won't hurt her. ;)

We are going to be a specialist retailer of cloth nappies, but are also stocking natural/chemical free baby products and nursery items, organic baby clothing, breasteeding wares and baby carriers :D

Earl has made a great marketing point - and I'll just bring it back to the front of our thinking - 'why stop at 5?' was his point.

If you did dozens, hundreds, thousands - whatever you could manage - each with a link back to your site you are creating a huge multiple entrance vehicle for your site.
The only reason I can think of not doing it is your time availability - so how much time is it worth getting a link to your site from someone else?
If the answer is 'not much' - don't even bother with the 5.
If the answer is 'lots' - why not set aside a day a week just to do these charicatures (did I spell that right?) and thus generate the links?

... but don't worry about me - I have a photo on the home page - how scary is that (see link below)

Why stop at 5.....very true!, but I need sites with lotsa juice as someone quite rightly pointed out! But on a more serious note Stephen Berry, in my professional Fuzzydon opinion I think since you have pointed this out then you should be number 6 ?..................Hand's Up all that agree!:p

Oh, god best take my photo of the profile page. Now you see why I havent a caricature on our About us page lol!:D
No, neither me or other half are Fuzzy or Don, just a name that we thought of.:D
