Does any one use Printing.com?

Hi UKBF

Haven't been about for a while now but after reading a post on another forum I thought I'd get some opinions from a busy and helpful forum.

The questions I have are simple.

Does anyone use Printing.com and why?

As I say the reason I ask is this was posed on another forum (4N) which stated "Prinitng.com aren't the cheapest or best" and "if you do you are being seriously ripped off"

And do you feel like you receive value for money from them?

I must admit I have used them before and felt the prices are purhaps a little high but you can at least guarantee a good product that is delivered on time.

Thanks for all your comments - your feedback is important to us and we reward franchisees and customers who suggest improvements which make us better.

If you do like what we do for you, we're giving you the chance to win £1,000 worth of printing every week during January. Our competition started yesterday - follow the link for details of how to enter:

I've used them at least twice for flyers. Brilliant service. For an extra £20, they'll hold your hand through the entire process (I designed my own flyers, so the CMYK colours were a bit off and as a result, had they not been so proficient, the black would have looked crap/saturated).

They're not the cheapest, but they provide a top notch service.

We're in competition with them! (at least on products where we overlap)

Printing.com have a great tree-planting scheme
(through the TreeAppeal - over 50k trees planted),

Similar concept to our own long-running Toptree
(through the Woodland Trust - we're over the 80k
mark now :p, but we have been running longer).

They have a good product base, some of which I'm sure we don't usually produce, or have
tended to cater for only on larger jobs, so we don't publish a tariff for a lot of it, meaning we're
POA for a lot of products. (CFH Product Range) For Print
and mail, we have Docmail - we print and mail letters, cards etc. to their end address.

At CFH used to be a trade-only printing company so haven't got a huge consumer presence,
and don't have highstreet shops (just the outlet on our factory), but we've been expanding
products for small businesses for some time & are generally competitive on price.
(see ClickClickPrint for business card pricing as an example)

Hence, I get the feeling their "if you do you are being seriously ripped off" statement is aimed
at some of the highstreet printshops/franchises who do seem to charge over the odds.

Hi all,

I can't comment on any one printer but if anyone would like a price comparison on their printing, we offer a professional print management service. In most circumstances we can save our clients money on their printing/design. In all cases the quality is absolutely first rate, we can offer samples on request.

If anyone wants a specific quote on any printing, please send me a PM.

Cheers,

Matt
