dividend tax through PAYE

Good morning,

Could someone confirm if you receive up to £10,000 by dividend in a tax year can you ask HMRC to adjust your tax code and pay the dividend tax through your PAYE?

That link's about collecting a Self Assessment bill through the code, slightly different thing. Under £10k with only a salary theres no return at all, you just tell HMRC before 5 October.

Thanks TaxBix I had assumed the OP had completed a Self Assessment tax return.

I know you will be aware but for anyone reading this thread a tax return must still be completed if HMRC send you one.
