Hi everyone,
I'm Chris found out bout this site through a friend, Liam, im interested in design and looking for any1 who might be able to give me a few pointers... please fell free to check out my site, anyone is welcome to join:It will be posted soon as this is my first post and does not allow me to post any URLS

Hi again Chris.

Are you just interested in design or thinking of going into business...

If it's the later (some of these apply to the former too!)...

Keep the logo simple. (Number three (with some work) is the best one.

Design using a vector application (CorelDRAW, Illustrator) not Photoshop and the like.

The red is 'unusual' but far too harsh.

The 'section tabs' are virtually unreadable

Site counter - get rid!

Remove anything else not associated with design. Promote yourself as a designer, not a teenagers' portal site! (sorry, that's how it comes across).

What's the countdown timer for?...

thanks 4 the advise, i will take it into consideration, the countdown timer is how long until the site offically releases,

I've just put a hit counter on 4 the time being so i can get an idea of how many people are viewin the site... wen i get a proper host i wil remove it... the menu bar is appauling i knw but i plan to make the site emense in the summer and improve the header..intend to go 4 a flash header

I just dont have the time right atm cus iv got my gcse's, but wen it wil be a totally different site in a month or 2's time ... hopefully lol

I'm interested in design more as a hobby than going into business, but maybe in the future if all else fails it could be a possibility.

ok, i am going to take your advice and develop logo 3... i have imageready cs2... could you give me some tips on how to improve it?

Hi everyone,

I'm into web, vector, logo design and multimedia. I am a team of developers and programmers based in CT and right now, we're being subcontracted by a company in LA. We're fairly new freelancers and our subcon rates are lower compared to our regular rates. We thrive in referrals mostly and expanding our portfolio.
