Quick question. Who would you say is the types of people who would be interested in email addresses of UK daily deal websites (Such as Groupon and Voucher Codes etc...)?

I have access to over 1m subscriber direct and opt-in email addresses of UK daily deal websites (Such as Groupon and Voucher Codes etc...) which are sourced directly from companies of this type, and would like to try and target the right audience who will be interested in the data but without abusing it.

It would all be abuse. It would all be spam.

You can't email private addresses in the UK unless they have opted in. These clearly won't have done.

Business addresses is a different matter...

I understand what you mean but the data is properly licensed, so it's fine. The question is not that though.

Thanks for this. A good idea indeed and some have already shown interest. Well, the list is not for us anyway. It's purely licensed for resale. ;-)

And you say *licensed* for re-sale did those who opted-in have a tick box that says something along the lines of 'I want to see deals from selected partners and/or third-parties'?

I do not know the exact commercials but I do know that it's been licensed for resale and the people can be contacted. Having said that, it's for single use, rather than continuous use. I also know that a lot of the subscriber data have been appended to existing data, which has resulted in a much better data set (eg. age, employment, etc)

Daily deal websites are awesome and generating business. There are lots of daily deal websites which offers great deals for their customers. But Groupon is great.
