Could anyone suggest a suitable CRM system for a small yet expanding company?

Can anyone recommend a CRM system that has worked well for their property management /letting agency? We're particularly interested in systems that offer features like contact management, marketing, sales, property management, tenant tracking, and maybe even automated communication and social media integration.

I think you could get started with a free Hubspot account and create custom labels when you need to. Not sure if it covers social media integration, you'd have to check, but does have a good free package. Zoho is really good too. Not many are offering free accounts anymore or even trials. Salesforce and Monday are very good also!

Thank you for your response, I appreciate it. It is not essential, but I wanted to check if you know whether any of your recommendations are compatible with Xero, Arthur & Rightmove/Zoopla?

If you want that sort of integration then expect to pay for customisation. Rightmove has an API but your CRM won't have the integration built in as standard. Last time I built an integration like this it took days of research and implementaqtion (connecting a lead generation with MS365 Dynamics).

Find a CRM you like and then pay a developer to build the integrations. A google search will provide lots of developers who have the necessary skills.

Very useful, thanks for your advice.

So it depends on a few things but Workbooks, a UK CRM firm, is compatible with Xero and I think it could be configured to talk to something like Rightmove / Zoopla. You would have to talk to their pro services team.

The benefit of Workbooks is because they are in the UK, it makes it a lot easier to get proper customisation. The other thing it does is it's a good unifying system. So it connects everything from marketing to accounts and there is even a marketing platform you can bring in there. It just makes it easier to grow.

If you want an intro to the CEO, just DM me and happy to set that up so you can chat with them.

Thanks Paul for the info! I'll definitely look into Workbooks and get back to you soon as ideally, am looking for a UK-based company.

I’ve done an integration for Apex27. It’s pretty much the same as all other CRMs.

I seem to recall it had a standard Rest API and there were a lot of built in integrations.

It’s also cheap as chips at £33/month per user.

Before committing to anything, make a comprehensive list of what you want the system to do now and in the future.

You probably would prefer a property business management system, which would have CRM functionality, but probably better to adapt something to your needs than change your requirements to use a system!

Very good points. I have made a list of what the new system needs to have/do for the business. Currently, I've narrowed down my search to Apex27 but would like to have a second option, as well. Any recommendations you have on a property business management system, would be appreciated.

What about this one (self hosted, but, for traditional CRM, powerful):

I have bought a copy and trying to get the time to test it out (I added a few extras, as well).

It's helpful if you're growing and stuff like support. When you need to get someone on the end of a phone to figure out reports etc... It just makes life easier.

So DM me and I'll introduce you to either the CEO or the CEO's daughter!
