as for the site - i am not sure if it is a firefox thing but you have a lot of sideways scrolling which doesnt look to great

When I view it the text goes off the page and I have to scroll right which is a bit of a pain.

Typos:

Staff - reword the last paragraph and change suggested to suggestion

Testimonials - first one - please to pleased, jobs to be cariried out change is to are

and agree with last comment about adding some pics etc to liven it up a bit.

Visuals! You need some photography there to hold the potential client's interest.

You might also consider a logo which will enable you to market your company more effectively, gain you more clients and retain brand loyalty.

Home page Page title says 'index.htm' suggest it describes the business.

On home page it says 'CleanawayUK was incorporated 11 years ago' - suggest 'incorporated' is changed to 'established' unless it is a Ltd Co, if so, then the full Ltd Co should be stated on the site.

Cannot seem to highlight any of the text so not sure if search engines will pick up any of the keywords in the content itself.

I think there needs to be a summary of each of your services in the 'services' section rather than just a simple list of what is offered.

Images throughout seem a bit too large.

If this is your first attempt at designing a website, it's a good one. I'd agree with everyone's comments, needs a logo, images, scroll bar sorting so you can see text without using scrollbar.

What software did you use? Or was website template software you used? Navigation is fine, I can get around the site okay.

From a search engine angle though you might want to think about how you name the pages, for example /index_files/Page410.htm might be better as /cleaning-staff/cleaners.htm. At the top of the page in the code you will see < title > < /title > in between these two tags, enter words which you would expect people to use to find your website on the search engines.

Once your website is designed then read up on how to optimise your website in the search engines.
