Click and drop and multiple shipments using overseas service codes

Hi,

What is the best/easiest/efficient way to handle an overseas order that needs to be split into lesser weight multiple boxes each requiring their own label/customs information?

Domestic mail is easy as I can simply clone the order (I think!) in C&D. However, overseas orders require the customs information so I would have to tell C&D which shipment each product is in. The only way I can see to do that is to clone the original order x number of times and add/remove products accordingly per shipment...is that how everyone else handles this?

I think that would be the only way is to clone and edit.

Why not use a courier and ship altogether though as surely that would be cheaper for you than multiple shipments?

Thanks, unfortunately not in all cases or at least not enough to warrant obviating the buggerance of splitting an order!
