Hello,
Has anyone here done business with a company in china called Top Jewelery? Based in Yimu china.
Their proposed client's L'Oreal, disney, diesel etc
annual sales US$ 6 million.
I am considering doing business with them, however, they only except TT or western union. I wanted to use Paypal as this offers me some protection. They don't accept Paypal. So I am apprehensive about this.
If anyone has had dealing's with them, or can offer advice it would be appreciated.

If for small order,I think most Chinese suppiler will prefer 100%TT in advance.For safety,I suggest you may first buy some sample from them with TT payment.Regarding Paypal ,there is going to be a lot of bank fee,so the supplier dont like it.

They have established long time and registed, they unlikely do any trick to harm their reputation

I got ripped off by using Western Union and a Chinese merchant. Be cautious.

If it's any help we've had a few shipments imported from a very reputable electronics manufacturer, and they only accept TT or Western Union as well, it's standard practice. Go gently at first and be prepared to lose the money!

Well, I have a good friend doing JEWELRY business in Yiwu. She is such a trustable person. She has been involved in international business for many years. Her home is in Yiwu too. she is a local there.

as far as I know, most of the factories in China refused to use paypal and prefer T/T since it is convenient for supplier. So since you are so worried about the factory's credit, maybe you can consider to use third party inspection and factory aduit services. I am Chinese. If you worry about it, you could do L/C.
For Paypal fee is very high, few Chinese accept it.
One fact is that more and more businessman import from China now. In the perspective from Chinese, if they want to develop, they will establish longterm relationship with their clients.

TT is a safe way, Chinese rarely use paypal. Let wholesalers send samples to you, and sometimes a great gap between samples and pictures.
