Cheated by Call Centre company

I was cheated by Call Centre company, I agreed with them on 1 month trial. I paid 120 quid, I got no service at all (on billing I had incoming calls on number, but I didn't get any information from Call Centre, I didn't get access to my personal area, so they took a money and just screw me).

Now couple days ago they setup unathorised Direct Debit (with different details on payment) and took another 70 quid for nothing. Company don't want talk with me because they think that they are untouchable.

I been screwed on 190 quid for company which (I though) had good reputation.

I got email from them in here, in UKBF.

Do we have any good solicitors here ? How much I can win on this case in court ?

Case is simple:
1. Signed contract on 1 month, payment through DD (I signed on that DD, after 1 month when I didn't get any kind of information about incoming calls or even login name I cancelled that DD)
2. They didn't provided service on which agreed
3. They didn't even create my username in their system
4. They never sent a invoice
5. They created untuathorised fake Direct Debit to take another money after 3 months, same without invoice.

I'd like to also ask UKBF moderators to close their account in here as they are just scammers.

I still didn't decide if I should just try make complaint on them and get back money through DD Guarantee or just sue that company...

What's your advice in that case ??

190 quid. You can win your money back! Unless of course you are trying to claim an addition for damages; for example, for any financial loss or suffering.

I'm no solicitor, but I would imagine the company you are slating might issue a counter-claim for damages suffered by their business, given your accusations - could be expensive if the court decides your accusations are without substance.

Why not invite the company to reply to your complaint in this thread? That way justice can be seen to be done.

:) They will be welcome, my bank was surprised with their attitude and their story about new DD without my signature ;)

I'd like to finally hear what they d'like to say me...

No invoices, no online facility with records of calls, trial ? (what trial you are our client for life), etc.

I hope so that moderators will block their account. Any good solicitor is here which d'like to fight with member of UKBF (too bad that I been scammed with my partner by UKBF member :///) ?

I posted this answer in your other thread as well, but it's appropriate here as well in my opinion.

Oddly enough, I had a rather similar experience with Heart Communications.

I was billed 3x the amount I should have been (taken by direct debit). As it was by direct debit, it should have been refunded immediately once I alerted them. 2 weeks later and I still hadn't had my refund. Eventually I had to get my bank to claw back the direct debit.

They're message taking proved to be poor at times. I had a request to call someone back but no details on the nature of the call - so no message taken from a message answering service.

I had paid the set up fee etc, but it wasn't anywhere near the amount you paid so no urge to chase it up. I left before my first month was over.

It's a shame, I was looking forward to setting up a good working relationship with a company from here (I've had several other good experiences from members here), and Heart Communications had actually tailored a package more to my needs which was appreciated and I thought was a good sign. Sadly not.

Maybe it was a prank SMS?

That was likely to be the general nature of the call ;) but it's no good calling back immediately if it's something that needs actioning and I'm not at the computer, and if it's just a general enquiry then there's no point in having the person waiting until I am by a computer just in case ;)

Uhhu, that all seems clear enough

My accusations are real and I'm pretty sure that judge will agree with me. I think as well that HMRC will be interested fact that they billing people with any receipts or invoices.

I invited HC to this thread, but probably they will ingore it like all my emails and calls.

That's terrible, not a good advert for reputable telephone answering companies like us ;-).

We've been doing call answering for 5 years and have had excellent feedback as I pride myself on customer service and most of all communication. Happy to discuss if you're still looking for a good, well priced service.

I must admit. I tried to sign up with them a few times but never heard anything back at all.

I PM'd on here and called and then saw No Missed Calls so went with them instead :)

Heart communications have provided a crap service to more people than I thought! There's me thinking it was a one off, but clearly they're service levels need to be looked at!

That's a lot of money to lose, get your money back, I'm not sure you'll need a solicitor as someone has already pointed out the Direct Debit guarantee should cover it, but also don't let one rogue company put you off using a call answering service, I use a great service called Answer.co.uk whose customer service is amazing and I would imagine there are others that have similar reputations.
