Fair enough, I see their point. But do you get a say in what is publically published? Some people don't know what they're doing and put their home address down. So now there's your full name, dob and address for all to see. That can't be on can it? Surely it's personal info (GDPR), but guess that all goes out the window when it comes to public knowledge on directors. Which I appreciate.
I think the best thing to do is call and ask them!Hmm yes I guess that is an option. Even if you did, not sure they would change it on CH though!?
Please let us know how you get on!Yes. I did emailed them. Their response wasn't that clear. So will give them a call. I don't think it can be changed though.
Just to update you on this. You can complete a SR01 form and pay £55 and have your full address reduced to the first part of your postcode only, eg LE7. You just need to look through the filling history (probably when you started the company) and find the file that has your address on it. They then edit that, which changes the display details on the People tab on the CH website. I did this and it took about 6 weeks. Please let us know how you get on!
