You guys on this forum have been so very helpful toward me in the past. I've used it to source printers, a website designer, a copy writer and accounting software.

So I thought I'd ask for your help again.

What do you think of this name for a roofline, soffit and guttering replacement company:

Clockwork Cladding
...because that how your job will go
.

All comments greatly appreciated

Bit of a tongue twister but I have heard far worse! I think it's quite good

Depends where you live and what accent your staff and customers have. You need to pronounce a glottal stop between the two words to hear the final k of the first word and the cl of the second word. If your receptionist answers the phone and does not use a glottal stop (it's only a matter of accent) the person on the other end will think you are called Clockwear Cladding or Clockwork Ladding. They won't hear the two /k/ sounds. Try it out on several people first.

PS I didn't see Bes's post before writing this, but he has made exactly the same point - tongue-twister.

Can't decide if I like that strap line either. On one hand it's reassuring, on the other it seems a bit contrived. Shouldn't a job going like clockwork be implicit in a professional company? Not sure if drawing attention to it is wise?

In a similar vein would be:

Solid Cladding?
Stay-put Cladding?

Or something which implies an older company or a geographical link - Minster Cladding - Coach House Cladding - Spire Cladding

Or artistic? Studio Cladding? Creative Cladding?

Property improvement: - Renovation Cladding? Refreshed Cladding?
