Bob's Fitness Club is the best so far.

There are four types of good names -

Your name or the name of someone (Bob's Fitness Club, Hewlett-Packard)
Off-the-wall nonsense names that are easy to remember (Google, Apple and Virgin)
The location or the building (The Roundhouse, Abbey Road Studios)
What you do (Bob's Fitness Club, The Mile-End Fitness Club)

There are four types of bad names -

Overblown and pompous (United Allied Fitness)
Cute puns that we tire of quickly (Devil's Den, Gym it Up, Muscle Mechanics)
Contrived ghastly derivations (Consignia has to be the all-time worst)
Suggestive that we tire of quickly (Knobs n Knockers, Effing Great Machines)

I've always thought about running a Gym... but for the life of me I cannot get my head around the spelling!

Surely Jim is spelt Jim why spell it with a G and use a Y... it does my head in...

I say it as a I see it... therefore...

The Placewhereyougotogetfitandhealthy-andthereisnoonecalledJimheresostopringingandaskingforhim.com...

Sounds good to me!!

My name is Echowilliams. I have created top names and taglines for 2,000 companies in over 54 countries both online and offline. CREATIVITY IS MY MIDDLE NAME
I develop ultimate solutions that build businesses.
I develop brands that is memorable. I can develop quality names and taglines for you too.
Why me?
Because I am a proven professional with over 10 years of experience.
Because I am honest, trustworthy, and easy to work with.
Because I keep my promises. I care about your brand. I want it to be successful. I deliver quality, not quantity. I listen. I work hard. I get the job done right.

So you're Fiverr according to your details?

Or are you a designer that uses Fiverr?

Which would mean that you are claiming to be Fiverr, when in actual fact you're not... not exactly trustworthy... but hey :)

Can you name me 10 brands that you have created that we may remember for a fiver?

Wait...

Don't hire someone to "brainstorm names". Those are just random words without meaning. Hire someone to build a functional brand that represents your business.

Random named companies that have no meaning... really?

Weird for you to say that when there's loads of folk on Fiverr doing exactly what you've said not to do? :D

Brainstorming... otherwise known as a brain fart... :D

Naming your business is a very personal thing.

If it doesnt sound good to you - you'll never believe it sounds good to anyone.

I actually did name businesses on PPH - 114 over a couple of years - but it was really hard work.

Much harder than copy. Ends up being very collaborative.

A number of those would take my ideas and give them a personal twist - which is fine.

I was a timesaver.

Stopped doing it a few years back.

Going on namemesh and trying things was pretty much my method.

I'm a user of their website as a seller.

Company name:
Fiverr
Industry Sector:
SEO / PPC
Private Messages:
Feel free to send me a PM.

So you don't work for Fiverr - therefore you shouldn't be suggesting that you do as per your profile, this could be seen as being misleading and dishonest.

So, it's not an assumption - its going off information given by yourself.

If you don't like it, don't state in your profile that you work for or own Fiverr because you simply don't.

Put your own company details.

I sell products for Yale, Union, Mul-t-Lock, BFT, Eurospec, Chameleon, ASEC, Videx, Paxton, does that mean that I own or am employed by these companies? Simply put no...

I don't go into businesses or people's home telling them I work for Mul-T-Lock I go in and introduce the company that I work for.
