business in australia

One that there is a market for and that you have the skills, finance and qualifications to deliver.

Have a look at the Australian embassy site and it will show you what sort of funding you need to have and other criteria to get a visa to move there to open a business.

Get over to Oz..... buy some really cheap mobile phones... really basic is all that is needed.... get an Optus 30 day sim card... telephone a number...let it ring... no need to talk...and get paid 500 AUSD per phone per month. Get 10 phones going at it for a few hours only per day and earn 5000 per month whilst you think about what you want to do. Simples

Last two replies are absolutely awful. Why are you thanking them?

What skills/ experience/ talents do you have that you can start a business from? I've lived there and run a business so can give a half decent opinion if you have a proper question.

My reply was a bit tongue in cheek. I have no idea of what business the guy could do over there. I have no idea of the market so I am sorry that you took it so seriously.
Having said that the model I explained is going well over there and lots of people are making money doing exactly that. I thought it may just help the OP out with some extra wonga whilst he is over there deciding what business to be involved in
Again...sorry that you got so uptight about my post. It was never meant that way

First of all you need to find out about the visa situation. There are many restrictions. For example my daughter has been over there for over two years, but she needs to wait a further six months before she can register for a training course. Her visa does not allow for any 'education'.
Also her partner cannot start his own business yet, he can only be sponsored to work for the company he is currently working for. There are many restrictions
