Just got the 8th letter chasing a guy who does not live here and never has (unless he camped on the spit before we built it)! I keep sending back not known at this address return to sender but it falls on deaf ears. A quick ten minute google reveals two people with the same name in a nearby town and services like 192.com offering to sell their addreess/ number. One is a director and companies house confirms his address is not mine. why do these debt chasers never do that? Surely reaching the right person is better than annoying randoms? Why are there no address checks? I had to provide photo id and proof of address to get a library card but apparently any random can take out debt with my address! I am fed up with these people and at my wits end. I don't want bailiffs turning up!

Let them turn up, waste their time. When they arrive remind them you've tried to inform them that their client has been a victim of deception, and hopefully that'll get the message through.
