Blackberry Bold, and Thunderbird question

Hi all
I have a Blackberry Bold on Vodafone, and use Thunderbird to receive my E mails from my ALL my E mail accounts. (I use IMAP on Thunderbird).

I have been 'Googleing' and cannot find a way to retrieve E mails that I would retrieve in Thunderbird- on my Blackberry when I am out and about.

An option I can see, is to log into my web based mail to read the E mails for my business, and reply there; but I have several personal and business E mails going to Thunderbird, so I would have to log into several web based mail accounts doing it this way, and it would be quite time consuming!

Blackberry Enterprise is costly, but I am assuming this would be the normal way to do it on a Blackberry.

Sorry if I am missing a trick here, but I am new to the Blackberry and Thunderbird.

Cheers!

I think you need to access them via IMAP on your Blackberry so it will pull them ... wait for a true email bod to come along and explain properly :D

I am just not sure how to do this?!

I go on to the E mail setup, and it just has the option for Blackberry Enterprise, and tells me to put a password in!

Do you not get a disk with your Blackberry? I think you can go on there and configure it all or something?! Sorry I'm not much help  dreaming of owning a BB :D

Hi CPearse,

I'm in the same situation as OneSixty. I bought the BB Bold and I did read quite a few reviews, but I managed to overlook the lack of IMAP functionality.

I'm also using TB with ~10 imap email accounts and it would be great having access to the via BB.

I did find the LogicMail for BB and installed it (v 1.0.4). I did set up my email account as in TB and I get 'Unable to reopen connection'.

I'm with Three provider. I also read about having to update the TCP/IP in the Advance option? Here I got lost ...

If anybody has some ideas it would be more the welcome.

Regards,
Siki
