    Ensuring the necessary water for the good functioning of towns is a major problem .
    I imagined a solution that would help a lot in this field .
    It is an original idea that can be proposed for an invention , with the title "     Installation for saving water " .
    It may be the most profitable invention in history.
    The idea can be applied all over the world, in an impressive number,     in all the buildings where human life and activity exist .
    I am waiting for your proposals .

    Build a prototype in your town. Then sell the idea to the water companies.

    Forget the collaboration thing or worldwide patents. Never ever going to happen.

    Nope. Never going to happen. Try crowdfunding sites. But you will need to publish the details of your invention. And investors will need to see a prototype.

    In which case you will never get any interest or investment.

    But if you built a prototype and got a patent and proved the savings you would get lots of investment.

    By the way, I spent over 40 years in the water industry, worked on plans in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Anything from treating sewage to drinking water quality in Spain, recovering mine drainage water in South Africa to producing high quality water for boilers. Oh, and that Dasani plant in London that got shut down because of bad publicity. If you want me to explain why your idea won't work, feel free to drop me a PM.

    At a guess...

    Separating sewage from rain water before it hits the sewage plants (done, but it's expensive to retrofit)
    Feeding houses with two qualities of water, one for drinking and the other for general washing, etc (see above)
    Airships. (not sure how this will help, but it's usually airships in things like this)
