Best PDF software

Does anybody have any reccomendations for PDF software. We use primo PDF but i was wondering of there was anything better out there.

I was using cute pdf pro for a while, found it very buggy.

Now using adobe acrobat standard, a lot better, seems you get what you pay for.

It depends what you want to do with - we use Cute PDF and havent had any problems with it.

What do you mean by "PDF software"? Viewing, editing, converting to PDF?

We use PDFFactoryPro and never had any problems with it.

Explain what you need from software. Do you need to generate text from pdf, or just save file to pdf. or maybe only to read from pfd

I'll second this. Create all your docs, spreadsheets, images in OpenOffice and so on and just click on the PDF icon. Saved and sorted.

It's free and much better supported than MS Office.

What problems are you having with Primo PDF, although we have Adobe Pro I actually prefer Primo for quickly converting text and images for sending as PDF attachments, very quick and simple, idiot proof which is probably why I like it.

Yes it is, it's open source so constantly being tweaked and worked on to actually make it better rather than to rake in more profits.

Lots of good choices

MS Word / Excel / Powerpoint all have option to print to PDF
Serif PagePlus
Adobe acrobat Pro

I use all of the above for creating PDF's and have no issues.
