Be good if Muck Donald’s had the promo poster photographer to cook the food as well as take the pictures of it – then it would taste as good as it looks! Rather than the washed out rancid poo that it currently tastes like!

I really don't understand who buys food there? I mean why? It tastes of nothing and isn't cheap either. When a retail park has a KFC, Burger King and McD's how do McD's get any business as it's the worst by far out of the three. I'd rather eat my own toe!

Last time I had one it was about 1 teaspoon of onions, a steam rolled burger and something wet like mayo, still it tasted ok :) oh and a bit of green stuff to get some of your 5 a day..

I guess it must be something in the "special flavouring" that makes it addictive. I've never seen so many overweight people in one place at the the same time. The sight of a clinically obese parent stuffing their poor little one's face with the garbage boils my blood

I do have to admit to the occasional treat of a McD big breakfast with loads of their bbq sauce on (scrambled eggs a toasted muffin and a sausage pattie about 4 times a year). At one time in my life I virtually lived on the stuff and the stuff was the ONLY thing that could satisfy the craving :( x

The only time i have ever had food poisoning was from a mcd's fish burger:mad: Absolutely shat myself for five days on that one, tests came back as food poisoning and they reported the place to health services!

Good side was that i lost 1-1/2stone
Exact same thing happened to a friend of mine with the same burger ;)

Have you put the 1-1/2 stone back on yet :p:D x

Yes i had a few big macs and that sorted it

We only have mcd's about three times a year now, it makes me so thirsty for the rest of the day. Probably bad salt levels in it.

Prefer cafe / pub for food these days or cook it myself, only fast food we have is fish & chips :) and chinese sometimes when i can afford it:(

I must admit that I am quite partial to a double cheeseburger when I've been out the night before, just something about it takes the edge off the hangover, don;t know why! :)

They put onions in the double cheeseburger, but not many, probably a equal to about a teaspoon worth, something like that.

By the way, I don't think fast food is solely to blame for obesity, sure, it doesn't help, but I used to be a bit of a fast food junkie and I stayed a size 10 for many years. I'm a 12 now though! I think what is important is to balance out your intake of rubbish calories and your sedentary lifestyle with regular exercise, a cliche I know, but it's a winning formula.

Having said that, I do more exercise now than I have ever done, and I am the biggest I have ever been - go figure!

McD's Big Mc, fries and orange juice is a perfect hangover cure ... not sure what else is in it but it quickly replaces the salts and sugars you lose due to de-hydration ... the orange juice gives you the vitamin C also lost ;).

As for your other complications Becky :D ... google Zoe Harcombe ;) x

I dont think its fast food per se, but more the sheer volume of availability of it and the media that is to blame for the obesity trend.

Every single high street has multiple chip, kebab, chicken, chip, chinese, pizza, sandwich and so on outlets on it now, its a dream to find a place that has none of them, i feel that 90% of these shops are unnesessary and just cashing in on people with a food problem.

The media are to blame for gloryfying the junk to children and parents who may not have the time to prepare decent meals all the time. I have seen many instances too where children grap a bag of chips on the way home from school and then get a proper meal too - instant weight trouble ahead.

Personally i think we should go back to WW2 food rationing for a couple of years, see how fast the weight comes off then!! Also grow your own is coming back, cant be bad.

Its the same for the alcohol trend. Once a many moons ago, the only places you could get alcohol was a pub with off-sales or an off-license. Now you can get it in every shop on the street practically. My point of view is that if you shove something in peoples faces enough, they WILL buy it eventually, its not good.
