No, these aren't in my name.

But let's say I own $10m worth of shares in a company that has a market cap of $150m+ and is listed on a Caribbean AIM type stock exchange.

And let's say the handcuff period on $5m of those shares has passed. What's the best way of finding a buyer?

    TIA

Look at the share register, see who already has shares and give them first refusal, or the directors of the business.

That all depends on what sort of company we are talking about. People specialise, at least the ones I know do.

    Mobile phone and/or satellite coms?

There's enough money out there, but it is always looking for either safe haven or something decent that makes sense to that particular investor. There are plenty of PE companies looking for listed and private companies that are low-hanging fruit! - But I can't see them going for 3.333% of somebody else's show though.

The fun days of the late 90s seem to be over! It's all value now!

If I had your problem, I would talk to the person dealing with my account at my off-shore bank. He would of course pull a long face, but he would put me in touch with someone who perks up and gets cheerful at the sound of a bone.

It's a fast growth tech firm with an established stream of recurring rev. More fintech / mobile phone than sat-comm.

What offshore bank? :) There was no bank involved in the original transaction. The shares were issued in exchange for IP owned by a UK Ltd.

It's a bit more than 3.33% but not by much. I get your point. However, the size of the pot makes it big enough to merit the costs of a full minority recap DD.

If you want I can sign an NDA and have a look in principle to establish if worth showing to them and under which term we can support.
Feel free to send me a PM in case.
