I just wanted to see who on this forum is Northampton based?

Who are you? What do you do? etc?

My name is Lesley & I am a Freelance Personal Trainer, Weight Management Advisor & Group Fitness Instructor.

I offer training & classes both to the public & on a corporate level.

Hi, Lesley.

Nice to see someone else from Northampton on the forum. I only signed up myself very recently but have found the forums invaluable.

My business is a microbrewery based in the centre of Northampton. We have trading for 16 years this year but are keen to develop our online presence.

Hope you don't feel so alone now:)

Not Northampton but Northamptonshire (Kettering) but still close so do I qualify?:p

I'm a little bit further down the road, just south of bedford, but used to work for Tesco in Northampton.

I live on the Leicestershire/Northamptonshire boarder. Although generally if people ask where im from i tend to say leicester ;).

I do however know the town well and network in the area.

Also from Northampton - seems to be a few of us here! :) I run an eBay and ecommerce business. Might have to take you up on the personal training, I don't get enough exercise even though I'm a member of both Trilogy & Derngate.

Indeed. My software development company is currently in an EU-wide developer contest for creating Samsung Internet TV apps. Putting Northamptonshire and the UK on the map in this new market area!

There is a public vote on the apps. If anyone would like to support us or see what game app we have created - and if you like our game app please vote, voting ends tomorrow, Friday 4th Feb 5pm - please see this voting thread.

Well how nice to see, i am also from Northampton.

I am a systems technical trainer and run the online astronomy society.
I am based in Kingthorpe with my wife and son :-)#

ps Carkmans, i may well take you up on the offer of help.
I used to do pc repairs, but also now write documentation and produce video tutorials for anyone interested in that.
My wife as you probably already know is a copywriter.
