Any reasons for NOT using PayPal invoicing?

Currently using Magento to raise invoices for customers who can't order online. Primarily because there's a bespoke element, we have to replace with other lines etc., But it's so damned clunky, requiring us to create a new account with all bells and whistles.

Paypal seems to be a lot simpler?

Same here. Takes a minute to create a PayPal invoice so I use it if needed.

But I usually generate a standard invoice for custom work which offers a range of payment methods. One of which is now Revolut as most clients are overseas.

Cost - their transaction fees are almost double the likes of Stripe & Sumup!

Also, I would have thought Magento has a plugin.

Also, do you use an accounting package?

True.

I wonder what their rate is?

I'm pretty lax when it comes to the subsidiaries so haven't yet done a comparison with Worldpay (Magento) v PayPal v other providers.

Yes we have a Magento plug in, the back end is really slow and any distraction and delay deletes the event date, you re-add the date, select the shipping, take a quick phone call and boom, gone!

I have Kashflow for another business.

There are other options than Worldpay.

Depending on your turnover, a proper merchant account can cost well under 0.5% (all in). With £100k turnover, for a grand+, I would spend the time to do the comparison!

BTW, why not just raise the invoice on Word?
