Accounting book etc recommendations.

I would like to learn a lot more about accounting and book keeping.
I’m currently using Xero butnqould like a better understanding of all things accounting.
Can anybody recommend any good books/Podcasts/Video’s.

A very good Website that covers 'The Basics!' Sarah's Website deals with various business models - Inventory Based, One-Man-Band, Retail and Time Orientated, etc. It has an American bias, but is one of the few from the US that acknowledges the concept of VAT!
