20,000 / tax

Hello I've been offered a new job with a salary of 20,000 Per Year + Possible 6000 bonuses. Can anyone tell me how much I would get for the 20,000 per month before tax and after tax, I cant work it out.

Depends on your circumstances - under 65, not married........

Gross Income £20,000.00
Tax-Free Allowance £4,745.00
Taxable Amount £15,255.00
Tax £3,113.70
National Insurance £1,679.48
Net Take-Home £15,206.82

A little behind on the tax free allowance Mike......now should be £5035 but will not make much difference to the monthly figures:smile:
