Hi all hope you can help, I have done something to my web forwarding settings, and now my website is a blank white page!

Could someone help me to change my website settings so that I don't have webforwarding on, as I want the default settings where it isn't forwarded, if that makes sense.

I was actually trying to change one of my other domains to point to 1st-stopaccounts.co.uk now I have changed the wrong one, i.e. 1st-stopaccounts.co.uk is pointing to 1st-stopaccounts.co.uk, how can I put 1st-stopaccounts.co.uk back to normal so it's not forwarding??? I can't work this out for the life of me.

All help appreciated!

1. Go into the 123-reg control panel for the domain which shouldn't be web-forwarding (your primary one 1st-stopaccounts.co.uk), select the "web forwarding" menu, and then select the "no web forwarding option".

That might be all you need to do if your hosting is with 123-reg too, but if not, you might have to do other things (like DNS settings) to point the domain's DNS records at where the site is hosted.

2. If you have any further problems, either contact the 123-reg support line, or the support of the hosting company you are using, or the support of your web designer

Thank you for your help, I have changed the settings to no web forwarding, fingers crossed that will do the trick, as the hosting is with 123 reg also. I have everything with them.

Now when I search for 1st stop accounts on google it takes me to the 123 default page is this normal - as it did say that it could take upto 48 hours to change back to how I want it.

Probably not. There is probably something else you have to do to configure your domain to point at your specific 123-reg hosting area rather than the default 123-reg area.

This is where you really need to contact 123-reg support to confirm this.
