It took this forum offline earlier. I got a CloudFlare Internal Server Error when trying to access the forum this morning.
I tried accessing the forum a few times today and got the cloudflare 500 server error.I am surprised that nobody here has mentioned it
I'm not very knowledgeable with this stuff but we depend on it nowYep. It's incredible how much dependency there is on Cloudflare. We use it for edge protection on our API endpoints and other publicly facing systems. Fortunately, we were able to mitigate it on our side, but it brings the question back on whether critical systems should depend on a single proxy.
It’s going to happen more and more. The crims are getting better at causing trouble and big tech is getting worse at QA. Whilst things are very resilient nearly all of them have a single point of failure. This is major infrastructure and none of this should happen
It was one of the ones that was not working This site is the most important site on the internet but the excommunication did leave me with more pressing issues at the time![]()

Loved the fact that the default error message on the Cloudflare site was as good as blaming the server of the clients
I would have, if I had been able to postThere was quite a serious Internet outage today caused by Cloud fair and I am surprised that nobody here has mentioned it
