Hi there! I have a problem with combating fake company pages on Trustpilot. Does anybody have the same problem?
The matter is that there is already 5 fake pages with almost the same name. And first of all they get reviews, so influence brand reputation, second - they put own links to almost same websites and steal our traffic and clients. I would really appreciate it if someone share the advice on how to stop it.

You can’t. You could pay for a higher plan but that doesn’t mean you would have any more luck removing the fake pages. And even if you were lucky they could create a load more pages.

That is the problem! There was 1, and we thought “well, that's ok, lets just dont pay attention”. But there 5 now. And we plan to pay for the business plan, to get support, but I am not sure it will help.
What do you think if we go to these pages and leave comments it is fake, will it help somehow? And maybe any compliances on violation Trustpilot policy? Or if we have trademark registered?

No idea, I don’t use TP for my business because it is so rubbish. But it does work for some businesses.

What’s your business? Do you have other sources of traffic?

They said that according to their policy everyone can create the page and that it is not their problem if someone is stealing the company name, traffic and etc.
As long as they get paid they don’t care what gets published. They don’t even care about fake reviews. They might make lots of noise about monitoring the listing but in reality all they want is your money.

As a shareholder in trustpilot your all right it's rotten from the inside out. I have in bitter dispute as a reviewer which has seen me banned for the site by Trustpilot not because they wanted me banned one of thier paying clients did and the wanted my reviews down and even when trustpilot could find a reason or any breach of the guidelines and told the paying client they demanded and they said the magic word they defamatory so off the came. Trustpilot named as the whistle-blower to then client when I presented 5 AI reviews of there reviews which found 50% of them fake but the 60 pages of evidence we labeled irrelevant and not further action. How do I know all this..simple I used the rights I have as a shareholder to ask the board for an independent review of it's moderation and flagging tools and written assurances that they had not named me as the whistle-blower. So double check I submitted a DSAR which none if the links to the data worked and it black pages it had been blacked out to protect the integrity of the system. After back and forth still no DSAR. I began to smell a rat and presented fact after fact to the company sec Ann Mc Sherry a lawyer by trade who has gone to such lengths to hide the truth its unimaginable. But what she didn't know if I had made a complaint about their paying client who was a card processor who closed my accounts and withheld company funds a large amount the Financial Ombudsman Service opened a chargeable investigation part of the complaint was that they had my reviews removed from Trustpilot in thier response to the the FOS they said they can't have reviews taken down it trustpilot taken the reviews down and it's nothing to do with them. I was awarded compensation which and was complaint was upheld the cars processor not wanting this to become public as it would open the floodgates for claims they were holding millions of pounds all the complaints about Teya are all 1 star and all about closed accounts and withholding funds and 100% of them are flagged which is a breach of the rules. In there response to FOS they again maintained the stance its not possible I made all up blablahblah but the issue is Teya in a toxic place and no one talks internally so I submitted a DSAR and the contents are the most damming thing I have read in 30 years. They stupidly sent me the unredacted email and slack channel messages of ther request to have me banned and trustpilot wrote yes we can have Greg banned when he writes another review you flag it and we send a warning and then I will implement the ban request. It gets worse I have a written statement for TP legal stating any assertion that there are systemic flaws in the system or that reviews can be removed is unture...ahh that's what the post office maintained for years and when I read that I knew it was a lie..and now I am disclosing all the documents and Trustpilot were give more then 4 months to disclose to the FCA and stock exchange that there is a flaw in the system but the flaw needs to be protected bring in the million that now drive Trustpilot who proposition is not longer trust its untrustworthy. And as for their paying client..lying to the regululor is a very very serious offense but being complicit in Market manipulation is a criminal offense ...trustpilot has lied to every signal shareholder and breach out trust by failing to disclose that out money was being used to create a cesspool of deceit where any brand and have it's 1 star sins washed away just under a grand a month...see the evidence your self tastesgooddoesgood.com look in the blog section
