Hi.

I use Office 365 for my business email. We get a lot of spam. The default Office 365 spam filter moves some to the junk folder but a lot gets through to our inboxes.

Has anybody got any experience of using a separate provider for spam filters?

Needs to work with Office 365

Is it a domain email address?

If so, do you have spam assassin set up on your server?

We also use Microsoft365 and I for one get so much spam, I now only accept email from people in my contacts list and if they aren't in my contacts they get auto-deleted. If it is urgent they can ring the office.
Starts at the server. You can do a lot of filtering before the mail even arrives in the mail queue. Then more before it’s forwarded to your inbox.

Are you using their web client or Outlook on PC/Mac?

ALso, there can b an element of training with these things - make sure you label/report the spam.

Just looking at their website. Is this is a desktop solution or something I can set up on Microsoft 365?
Mailwasher is a desktop solution - it draws down previews from the server, and will mark spam which is quickly deleted from the server. You can also add or remove messages from the 'wash'
Once washing is complete the remaining 'good stuff' will download into your email client
