When I set up my PayPal account for my LTD; it sent £0.01p to my account.

Am trying to work out how to account for this in my balance on QuickBooks - I guess it's a type of income?

I have always just recorded this as sales. The question is, are you comfortable paying the additional £0.0019 in Corporation Tax? :D

Thanks everyone!

The thing is, except for this £0.01p, I have no other income in the year so I really don't want to make things complicated and have to apply any Corp Tax to it!

You should find your sales account rounds down to £0 and the Corporation Tax due in this case should be £0. HMRC only works in whole pounds IIRC.

I have had a few of these...

Google Ad Account
Square card reader test transactions from my personal card
First Payment card machine test transactions

I just added them to my DLA?

Is that bad?

Comes to about four quid...

Hello!

It is a type of income, but corporation tax returns and all the figures entered on the corporation tax return are always rounded down to the nearest pound by the HMRC, so in this case, the £0.01 will be rounded down to £0 and the corporation tax due on it will also be rounded down to £0 as you have no other income in the year.
