Hi All,

I am looking for recommended quality control inspectors for China factories. Unlike the similar post below, not looking for 'sourcing' just inspectors to carry out the management of products in production and up until shipping. Any business that has been happy with the service provided by an inspecting agency or, even better, have been using one for a number of years and they have not let you down, please drop me a line!

Many thanks to you all and look forward to hearing any advice :) Any advice or possible trails would be welcomed...

Hi,

What sort of products are you importing from China?
I ask because medical products for example can be very tricky and its best to use an inspection company that is specialised in that field with years of experience.

There are thousands of national and international quality control inspection companies are working in china because as you know china is trading in all over the world. I will be recommend you that you should select a local Chinese company. A local Chinese company will help you a lot instead of international company. They are well known their home products and don’t face any problem during their work. Good Luck
:)

Hi James, Thank you but yes i am aware there are many. Picking one out of the hat that comes with no recommendations is thwart with possible floors, hence why a company recommended that is being used regularly is what i am after. Thanks for your reply.

We are looking at outdoor garden furniture this time, iron tables, chairs, all weather products, garden benches etc.....I know this 'should' be one of the more easier product lines to keep an eye on but we just had a container of rattan and a lot was badly produced and has cost us money ;-(

Whats your thoughts in that inspection partner?

with thanks

Unfortunately, we are not in a position to take anything more on as my team in Shanghai is just so booked up. If that changes then I'll let you know.

As far as inspection goes, make sure you have a plan and test methods in place. Sampling plans to ISO2859 will help with your sampling. Determine your critical, major and minor AQLs.

I've seen independent inspectors walk into factories...take a glance at the operation and gives it the OK.

Aber instruments found us on UKBF. Our inspectors stayed for the entire day and the report was over 20 pages long.

If you are investing thousands of your money especially if they are asking for it before they are shipped then it is worth the extra mile to do independent checks on the goods before they leave. Any factory in China who has a problem with that then it's probably not worth dealing with!

All the best.

Sure , waiting for your reply soon. Just like to share some experience with you.

1. decide actory is very important. Good factory will give us good rate of qualified product.

2. Q.C team should start working while factory assembling. It will too late to Q.C products when goods already to ship.

3. You should make cheking list with Q.C team and let them know what your major care.

Wating for your contact soon.

Maybe i'me repeating other posts, but I'll give my 2 pence worth.

1. If you are doing repeat business in China it might be worth going out for a vist and spending some time with the boys at the factory, it can be a good experience and its always good to get 'friendly' with your business associates. Its an important part of Chinese custom

2. Secondly, if you know where your product is being produced, try and find a local sourcing agent who can help you look after QC, inspections whilst providing you with the correct service. inspection reports, merchandising reports, samples etc.

best of luck,

Hi,

Yes it is quite important to have QC partner in China if you do production here. Esp for products like furniture.

I personally also work in the outdoor garden furniture business and have factory in China.

But I also do the sourcing and trade biz .Maybe I can help you with it.
